Whether its rushing to meet a friend or simply heading home, Uber launched a dynamic outdoor media campaign with QMS to let people know that getting a ride won’t take long at all.
The campaign, developed by Special Group in association with Mediacom, promoted the efficiency of Ubers’ ride-hailing service and its average four minute wait time.

Using real time data pulled from Uber’s API, the estimated local wait time for a driver was displayed across key QMS large format digital billboards as well as the company’s Canberra Airport digital network.

This is a powerful example of a data driven campaign that is localised, engaging and above all informative. The API technology utilised in this campaign allows for immediacy and direct communication to Uber users via an impactful media platform.
